Question: How is the amount of remaining pictures calculated when using
CompactFlash cards?

Answer:
The way pictures are stored on a CompactFlash card is different from the
internal memory.

On the CompactFlash, the available card space is recalculated after every
shot. Depending on the type of picture, compression will result in smaller or
larger file sizes, the remaining shots available will be calculated on this.

On the internal memory, there is a fixed memory allocation for every shot in
a specific resolution setting.

Question:
Can the flash be used during VideoCapture?

Answer:
No, whenever the camera is connected to the PC it is powered by USB
connection. This does not provide enough power to load the flash.

Question:
What is Agfa PhotoGenie and how does it work?

Answer:
Agfa PhotoGenie is a breakthrough in imaging technology that gives ePhoto
digital cameras several important advantages over competitors in terms of
image quality.
PhotoGenie is an Agfa developed, advanced software technology, integrated into
the included Newsoft PhotoWise.

1. Using the CL20 Twain driver, all downloaded images from the camera can get
a resolution enhancement (removal of JPEG artifacts and jags), if the
customer chooses so via the PhotoGenie checkbox in the TWAIN driver.
 2. PhotoGenie QuickFix is available in PhotoWise 3.0, and applies auto tonal
correction, color cast removal and skintone correction.
 3. Agfa PhotoGenie resolution enhancement filter is automatically applied via
the AgfaCam Mounter software. When opening a CL20 picture within the AgfaCam
Mounter the image will get the right resolution (eg. for PhotoGenie / 1280 x
960 pixels).

PhotoGenie has an important effect on images on two levels:
 * PhotoGenie optimizes the image quality of captured pictures
* PhotoGenie removes or reduces annoying image artifacts, often resulting from
JPEG compression.

PhotoGenie does not require user expertise or any manual intervention.
