Hi, see, the camera has three resolutions: 512 (low), 1024 (med), 1280 (high). The CCD chip is 1024. So, I'm trying to figure out, how under Windoof they interpolate the picture to 1280. The thing is: If I take a picture of the same stuff, one in med res one in high res, I get two different file sizes for the EXIF. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 96256 Sep 8 12:59 PIC0002 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 144384 Sep 8 12:59 PIC0003 But, if you open the pictures, they are (of course) both 1024. So where's the difference? Is it just the JPEG compression factor maybe? Can you maybe try it out? If you can see a difference? My laptop screen sucks, so I can't see small differences. Peter, you can have example pictures from me, if you want. PhReceived on Sun Sep 08 2002 - 14:10:49 CEST
